This year is a first for me - for the first time I travelled to Ireland with my own car. My route lead me through Belgium and France to the port of Cherbourg. From there I sailed to Rosslare in County Wexford. From there I travelled along the south- and westcoast up to Achill Island. On my way I had stops in Dungarvan, Kenmare and Doolin for some days each. After a week on Achill Island I had a further stop in Laragh in the Wicklow Mountains before I got back to Germany.
