Here's the 2nd part of my trip to Ireland in 2015. The 1st part was about my way up to Achill Island. The 2nd part is all about Achill and a little bit about the Wicklow Mountains, which I passed by on my way back to Germany. Enjoy!

On the day of my arrival the "Battle of the lake" was on, a kite- surf event on Keel lake, which is pretty much directly next to my holiday home.

Poor joy on Achill is when the sun comes out. Especially when there are some clouds around for us photographers.

A daytrip I do on most of my vacations on Achill Island is a trip to the Kylemore Abbey. I use to do a roundtrip along the Doolough valley in one direction and directly along the mainstreet in the other. I had very nice weather when I did the trip in 2015. so enjoy!

Last stop on my trip to Ireland in 2015 was in Laragh in the Wicklow Mountains. I totally adore Glendalough and like doing a walk around the whole estate every time I pass by the Wicklow Mountains.
